Wage: $28.50 per hour
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be able to prepare a variety of menu items while maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness.

Key Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
• Follow recipes and portion sizes accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Monitor food freshness and ensure proper storage
• Assist in planning daily prep and kitchen operations
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
• Train and guide kitchen helpers when needed
• Help with inventory and notify management when stock is low

Education and language:

Completion of secondary school along with 1-2 years of work experience as a cook.

Basic English language communication skills are required.

Requirements:

• Previous cooking experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices
• Strong time management and teamwork skills
