Wage: $ 34.50 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. 7 months to 1 year experience is required as an Ophthalmic Technician. Job Duties

• Vision Testing - Measuring vision, taking eye pressures, and administering various diagnostic tests like Visual Acuity, visual field etc. 
• Performing preliminary exams and tests to check patient's eye conditions 
• Cleaning and maintaining ophthalmic equipment
• Answering patients' questions and encouraging healthy habits
• Gathering patient information, recording medical history, and explaining procedures. 
• To maintain and clean exam rooms, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and ready for use. 
• Educating patients about eye health, eye conditions, and the use of eyeglasses or contact lenses. 
• Supporting Eye Doctor with various procedures 
• Any other relevant task
