Job Description

Link Insurance Services Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Insurance Agent Supervisor (NOC: 63100) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for client service and experience in the insurance industry.

 

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Insurance Agent Supervisor
  •  (NOC: 63100)
  • Location: 15250-56 Ave Hwy 10, Suite 100, Surrey, BC, V3S 5K7
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Wage: $36.60 per hour for 35 hours per week
  • Vacation Pay: 4% of gross earnings
  • Language: Proficient in English (spoken and written)

 

 

Job Duties (Insurance Agent / Supervisor)

 

  • Assess and identify potential client markets including individual, business, and institutional customers
  • Establish and recommend suitable insurance coverage for clients, including Home, Condo, Tenant, Strata, Vacant House, Farm, Cargo, ICBC Prorate, ICBC Auto Insurance, Recreational Vehicle, Marine, and Commercial Insurance.
  • Calculate insurance premiums based on customer needs and risk profiles
  • Complete and review all necessary forms and policy documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor and manage insurance claims; provide timely responses to client inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Offer detailed information about available insurance products, coverage options, exclusions, and benefits
  • Ensure proper underwriting guidelines and procedures are followed
  • Maintain regular follow-up with existing clients for renewals, updates, and cross-selling opportunities
  • Supervise a team of 5–10 insurance professionals, providing training, task allocation, and performance monitoring
  • Ensure team compliance with provincial regulations and licensing standards
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and underwriters to finalize and bind policies
  • Maintain organized records and documentation in accordance with industry regulations and company standards

Requirements / Credentials:

 

  • Completion of high school is required
  • Completion of a relevant training program or more than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Valid Provincial Insurance Licence
  • Experience in the following areas is preferred:
    • Property/Casualty Insurance
    • Commercial Insurance
    • Automobile Insurance
    • Fire and House Insurance
    • Tenant and Strata Insurance
