Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes which mainly cover the street food including golgappa, Flavored Waters and multiple different type of variations. 
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances 
• Estimate food requirements and costs
• Monitor and order supplies along with maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas 
• Recruit, train and hire staff for preparation, cooking and handling of food 
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers and manage kitchen operations
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Maintain food safety standards

Skills Requirement

• Completion of secondary school is required
• At least 6 months of kitchen and cooking experience required in food preparation or service industry
