Tangentia Inc. is a global leader in digital transformation and automation, helping Fortune 500 companies and fast-growing businesses optimize operations and enhance customer experiences. We are looking for a “Manager – Event-Led Customer Acquisition and Engagement” to join our team immediately.Our office is located at 130 Queens Quay E, Suite 601, Toronto, Ontario M5A 0P6. This is a hybrid role, the Manager – Event-Led Customer Acquisition and Engagement will be expected to work from the office location along with being able to work remotely. This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours/week with an annual salary of $115,000 with extended medical insurance and dental insurance. The language of work for this position is English.
The main responsibilities of the positions include:
- Managing the global event calendar including industry trade shows, executive roundtables, award galas, luxury dining experiences, and other high-level engagements and coordinating the scope and format of these events in collaboration with sponsors, organizing committees, and key stakeholders
- Developing and planning bespoke events such as private dinners, wine tastings, curated cultural experiences, and golf tournaments designed to resonate with senior executives, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience
- Designing and coordinating events that are tailored to the cultural and business nuances of various regions (Dubai, Singapore, India, North America, and Europe) to ensure relevance and impact
- Establishing and maintaining partnerships with luxury service providers, including fine dining establishments, sommeliers, event stylists, celebrity chefs, boutique wineries, and travel concierge services, to create unique event experiences
- Coordinating complex international event logistics, including arranging accommodations, transportation, venue sourcing, catering, and on-the-ground coordination and ensuring all event requirements are met in accordance with client needs
- Overseeing the quality of services provided, ensuring adherence to contracts, budgets, and compliance with local regulations and by-laws
- Working closely with the marketing and sales teams to align event strategies with overall sales goals, ensuring that events serve as a key channel for lead capture, qualification, and post-event follow-ups
- Designing events that reflect the premium status of Tangentia Inc, positioning the company as a top partner for digital transformation and creating lasting impressions through strategic event branding and immersive experiences
- Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators such as lead quality, event return on investment, brand lift, and deal attribution to measure the success of events
- Maintaining detailed performance reports for internal stakeholders, providing data-driven insights and adjusting event strategies based on feedback and analytical results
You must have the following qualifications:
- Experience in event marketing, luxury hospitality, or enterprise B2B engagement
- Experience in planning high-end experiences such as wine tours, intimate VIP dinners, awards galas, or executive offsites
- Strong network and prior collaboration with hospitality partners in Dubai, India, North America, and Europe
- Experience managing global event logistics, travel, and hospitality vendor negotiations
- High attention to detail, outstanding client service, and the ability to create elevated brand experiences
