We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to assist in overseeing administrative operations and supporting the day-to-day functions of our office. This role includes managing overall project performance, including costs, schedules, quality, and project status. You will develop and maintain excellent relationships with sub-trades and clients, manage change order processes—including pricing, negotiating, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impacts—and prepare performance status reports related to cost forecasts, schedules, and safety. Additionally, you will establish project safety programs and provide proactive leadership. You will also be involved in all aspects of project start-up and close-out, including ensuring proper documentation is collected and submitted to internal personnel.

Job Duties:

 

The major responsibilities of this position include:

  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Perform data entry
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
  • Resolve conflict situations
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures

Skills requirements:

  • 2-3 years of work experience
  • College diploma in business or public administration
  • Strong client relationship management skills

  • Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail, with the ability to enter and verify large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy and consistency
  • Trustworthiness and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information

Terms of employment:

Permanent Position of 40 hours per week

Salary:

From CAD$ 36.00 to $ CAD 38.00 per hour
