Job Description

Salary: $34.00 - 40.00 per hour for 32 - 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Full Time, Permanent
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Education: College
Location: 131 King St, St. Catharines, ON
Job Duties:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Supervise and train restaurant staff.
  • Analyze the budget to increase and maintain profits.
  • Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, kitchen and cleaning supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Create and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update the menu offerings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Provide customer service and address customers' complaints or concerns
