MJ TR Inc. is looking for (4) Long Haul Truck Drivers for its busy transportation company to work in its operations in Edmonton and its surroundings areas in Alberta. Flexible hours are available, minimum 20 hours per week.

 M&J Transportation prefers candidates with (2) years of experience as skilled Long Haul truck drivers, less experience will be considered upon demonstration of the appropriate level of skills. The company is committed to hire candidates who can work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and energetic environment. Flexible and willing to work shifts. Candidates must possess a clean criminal record. No education required. Language of work: English.

Salary compensation 35.40/hr. for a minimum of 20/hours per week. Flexible hours/days available.

Duties include:

• Load and unload goods

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

• Perform emergency roadside repairs

• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
