Job Description

  • Oversee and manage daily operations of the food store, ensuring efficient wholesale and retail sales activities.
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate store staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance to maintain high productivity and service standards.
  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities, forecast sales, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Select and manage the range of food products and services offered, establish pricing, and implement store credit policies to drive sales and profitability.
  • Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of merchandise.
  • Develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies to attract customers and increase store traffic.
  • Prepare and manage the store budget, control expenses, authorize purchases, and track revenue performance to meet financial targets.
  • Monitor and improve customer service practices, respond to inquiries and complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle staffing needs, including recruitment, training, performance development, and retention of qualified employees to build a strong, motivated team.
