About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have experience with testing methodologies, test case design, and bug reporting, and will work closely with developers, product managers, and business teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and/or automated).

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide input on quality considerations.

• Ensure that software meets business requirements, usability standards, and security guidelines.

• Contribute to test automation framework development (if automation QA).

• Monitor and report on test progress, results, and overall software quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing.

• Knowledge of testing methodologies and QA processes.

• Familiarity with bug tracking/project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).

• Strong skills in writing test cases, executing tests, and reporting bugs.

• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit).

• Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured).

• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

• Exposure to SQL/databases for data validation.

• Experience in cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, GCP environments).
