Responsibilities:

• Review work orders to determine job specifications, such as production time, quantities, and stock to ensure accuracy.

• Set up and adjust the printing and bindery machines to prepare for printing and print finishing work. This includes but is not limited to replacing ink and toner, loading stock, and calibrating equipment.

• Input codes and key in programming data on the console keyboard of computerized machines.

• Operate and monitor printing machines during print runs and make adjustments as required.

• Review the quality of products produced to ensure compliance with company standards.

• General equipment maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area - Move, jog, and skid stock (lifting required)

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Press/Bindery Equipment Operator or in a similar role running/maintaining commercial printing equipment
- Proficient in operating press/bindery equipment relevant to the print industry.
- Knowledge of different binding techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good problem-solving skills
- Forklift certification is a plus
