Job Description

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Job Duties:

  • Plan and manage staff work schedules to ensure smooth kitchen operations and adequate coverage during busy hours.
  • Supervise and coordinate food preparation and portioning to maintain consistency and quality
  • Train staff on proper sanitation practices, food safety guidelines, and specific job responsibilities

 

  • Requisition of food supplies and kitchen materials to maintain sufficient inventory for daily operations.
  • Prepare budgets, control food and labor costs, and monitor overall expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Hire, onboard, and support the training and professional development of new and existing staff.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and service consistently meet the establishment’s standards.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  •  Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, equipment repairs, and food wastage for reporting and audits.
  • Prepare detailed food order summaries to assist the kitchen team with efficient meal preparation.
