Job Duties:
- Order or pass on the request for supplies and equipment
- Assisting early childhood teachers in carrying out child-care programs created to physically, emotionally, cognitively, and socially develop children
- Observe, evaluate, and submit reports containing the behavior of each child, their performance in class, and social and physical development and report to the early childhood teacher and parents
- Teach basic skills to children like number and letter recognition, eating habits, personal hygiene, colors, shapes, social skills, etc.
- Change diapers and assist in bathing and feeding infants and toddlers
- Help early childhood teachers in maintaining reports, logs, and files for students and administration as required
- Carry out or assist early childhood teachers in various activities such as story-telling, reciting songs, poems, arts and crafts, and local field trips
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks to children according to set nutritional guideline
- Attend to children's basic needs by engaging with them, dressing and feeding them
- Report any behavioral or other problems to early childhood teachers, parents, superiors, or guardians and discuss possible solutions or measures necessary
