The Home Child Care Provider will be responsible for providing in-home care for children in a private household. Duties include:

• Supervising and caring for infants and children

• Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children

• Changing diapers and assisting with toilet training

• Preparing bottles and infant formula

• Preparing and serving nutritious meals

• Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home

• Organizing age-appropriate activities such as games and outings

• Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development

• Disciplining children according to parents’ instructions

• Preparing children for rest periods

• Tending to the emotional well-being of children

• Performing light housekeeping duties related to child care

• Cooking and cleaning as required

• Assuming full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents

• Travelling with the family on trips, when required, to assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
