Requirements of job:
Language: English
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Job responsibilities:
- overseeing the daily operations of vehicle fleet
- Recommend measures to improve work methods
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Supervise workers and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Arrange for training
- Co-ordinate and schedule activities of drivers
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- overseeing the daily operations of a commercial vehicle fleet,
- Maintain vehicles to maximize efficiency and safety
