Job Description

One (1) permanent full-time position of Gas Station Supervisor (NOC 62010) is available at KRS Holding Englehart Inc. o/a Esso located at 141 Fourth Ave, Englehart, ON, P0J 1H0.

 Main Duties to be completed as per the lead statement of NOC 62010:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales staff, gas attendants, and cashiers to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Ensure Submersible Tank Pump chambers meet TSSA Fuel Safety standards.
  • Assign duties and prepare work schedules for staff, including sales, merchandise, stocking, cleaning, and fuel pump monitoring.
  • Monitor Automatic Tank Guage alarms and respond immediately to troubleshoot and resolve.
  • Ensure fuel tank fill holes meet TSSA Fuel Safety standards (fill hole covers, lids, product tags, etc).
  • Oversee fuel inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
  • Ensure fuel dispensers meet TSSA and Measurement Canada standards.
  • Manage and assist staff with store upkeep, labeling, merchandising, and seasonal displays.
  • Monitor Automatic Tank Guage for product levels and contact dispatch regarding any low-level alarms.
  • Prepare daily sales and fuel volume reports, track yearly performance, and handle purchase/sale entries and personnel records for management review.
  • Attend to customers in person or over the phone and resolve complaints related to staff behavior, product shortages, fuel issues, warranty returns, or exchanges.
  • Coordinate with calibration team to rectify any product flow issues.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety compliance, including spill response and hazardous materials procedures.
  • Ensure all site staff is trained for emergency response related incidents.
  • Monitor fuel dispensers, ensure proper calibration, and report any technical or safety issues.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels for both convenience store items and fuel, implementing strategies based on seasonal trends and customer demand.
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding new staff, including training them on customer service, point-of-sale systems, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure proper handling of cash, credit, and cheque payments; authorize returns and monitor refund transactions.
  • Reporting of safety related incidents and creating action plan.
  • Monitor local competition in pricing, promotions, and services to adjust store strategies as needed.
  • Open and close the store, manage shift handovers, and ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Perform the duties of subordinate staff (e.g., cashier, fuel attendant) during peak hours or in their absence. 

Requirements:
Minimum One year of work experience
Completion of Secondary school.

 Wage rate : $36.00/hour, 35 hours per week
