Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
  • Ensure food is prepared and presented in an attractive and appetizing manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen at all times.
  • Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation.
  • Assist with inventory management and ensure that ingredients are properly stocked and fresh.
  • Work with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
  • Assist with menu planning and suggest new dish ideas.
  • Ensure all food orders are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Adhere to all safety and cleanliness protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen position.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of food presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Good understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food preparation.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Culinary School diploma is a plus.
