Utech Electronics, located in Uxbridge, Ontario, is seeking a qualified Junior Buyer / Purchasing Assistant to join our team.

Salary: $49,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Uxbridge, Ontario

Job Duties:
• Place purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records
• Perform cost-effective purchasing to ensure stock availability based on sales and inventory needs
• Communicate with suppliers, maintain vendor relationships, and support purchasing agreements
• Compare deliveries to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain detailed records of purchases, invoices, contracts, and supplier communications
• Report to Product Manager and senior management

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• Experience in purchasing, inventory management, or procurement
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with supply chain and operations teams
