Work setting: On site – work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities/Tasks

• Supervise truck drivers and coordinate transportation-related work activities.
• Prepare production and operational reports related to driver activities, deliveries, and fleet operations.
• Recommend measures to improve work methods, efficiency, and service quality in transportation operations.
• Resolve work-related issues, provide technical guidance to drivers, and recommend actions to improve productivity and performance.
• Train drivers or arrange training on job duties, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Co-ordinate and schedule driver assignments, routes, and daily transportation activities.
• Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary measures.
• Order or arrange for the purchase of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for transportation operations.
• Ensure health and safety regulations and transportation requirements are followed.
