Crest Tech Corp. is a leading Canadian “build to design” manufacturer/machine shop and assembly facility, located in the heart of Toronto. Our facility is over 20,000 square feet and by utilizing our highly experienced employees coupled with the highest quality of state of the art conventional and CNC machinery, we are able to supply our customers with superior quality products. We present capabilities include milling, turning, material saws, grinding, honing, and de-burring.

We are hiring a Accounting Supervisor with minimum of three years of experience and who can successfully perform following key responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Canadian GAAP and Ontario regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end closing procedures for manufacturing activities.
  • Monitor and analyse inventory costs, production expenses, and variances.
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Prepare and review tax filings, including HST and corporate tax returns.
  • Assist in external audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
  • Stay current with changes in accounting standards and provincial legislation affecting manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Assist in development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Involve with senior management and executives in discussions related to financial planning, risk management, and investment decisions.
  • Involve in preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and monitor actual performance against projections.
  • Supervise and manage cash flow, banking relationships, and credit arrangements.
  • Oversee preparation of financial statements for regulatory and management purposes.
  • Analyze financial data, trends, and reports to identify areas of improvement and recommend strategic actions.
