Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

Job Summary

The Industrial Mechanic / Millwright is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment used in metal manufacturing operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous production.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair large industrial machinery and mechanical systems, including conveyors, presses, CNC machines, pumps, compressors, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability

• Diagnose mechanical failures and complete repairs or replace defective components such as bearings, gears, motors, belts, chains, seals, and valves

• Install, align, dismantle, and reassemble industrial machinery using appropriate tools and lifting equipment

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Work collaboratively with production, electrical, and maintenance teams to support plant

operations

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all health and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications: (experience needed and education)

• Trade certification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) is considered an asset

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Salary: $37.23 / Hour
