Matheson Collision is a complete auto body repair shop. We deal in full body, collision and refinishing of heavy trucks, trailers, and cars. We are looking for an experienced professional individual who will help the organization with its Shop Supervisor requirements by supervising shop workers, supervising operations, and ensuring safety. The successful candidate will must have experience in an autobody shop

Location - Matheson Collision, Mississauga ON

Job Type

- Full-time, Permanent (35-40 hours/week)

Salary - $42.00 per hour (paid bi-weekly)

Education

- Completion of high school is a must Experience

- At least 3-4 year experience in the relevant field is required

Duties and Responsibilities

- Supervise shop workers, machines and equipment and supervise the repair of transport trucks, cabs, cars, and trailers and maintain a schedule of repair

- Manage all operations of the shop, create reports, and keep records

- Train staff and assign duties while maintaining safety standards

- Oversee technicians’ inspection, diagnosing, repairing of all brands of transport trucks

- Create inventory logs and order parts

- Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers, followup with customers when needed

- Create employee reports for promortion purposes

- Create log of safety breaches and mainting utmost standards for worker safety

Requirements

- Automotive knowledge is a must

- Experience as a shop supervisor is required

- Excellent communication skills

- Leadership ability

- Must be able to stay on feet for long periods and lift heavy equipment
