Staff Relations Manager Opening - $68.00 + / hr.

CPS Development

We are looking for a proactive Staff Relations Manager (NOC category 10011) who can use sound judgement to manage the workforce of a Kaslo-based building and development services company. This is a permanent/full time job opportunity for the right individual.

You will...

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of all HR initiatives
  • Direct full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition efforts to attract, assess, and secure top-tier talent and skill
  • Coordinate or conduct training to strengthen workforce capabilities
  • Lead the negotiation and administration of employment contracts within a competitive market
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations and maintain a positive work environment
  • Create performance management systems for accountability, feedback, and employee development
  • Develop and implement policies or programs to improve the well being of company employees
  • Collect and analyze information or data to make informed decisions and support company management
  • Maintain employee files and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws

 

You can offer...

  • Formal education (Bachelor degree preferred) in Business Administration or related studies
  • High-impact leadership and team management abilities – you own the actions of your team
  • A track record in recruitment and retention
  • The desire to work in the Kootenays full time (40 hours per week with overtime possible)
