Position: Finance Officer

Skills Requirements:

Education / Experience: Bachelors

Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience

Languages: English

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and balance the company’s various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

• Post journal entries and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, fuel card transactions, and other financial records.
• Prepare trial balances, maintain general ledgers, and assist in preparing periodic financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and follow-ups.
• Prepare and process payroll for company employees and remit payroll source deductions to the Canada Revenue Agency.
• Monitor and track operational expenses and provide recommendations to improve cost control and profitability.
• Prepare GST/HST returns and other tax-related remittances for submission to the appropriate government authorities.
• Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required by management.
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
