Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures and ensure smooth restaurant operations during service hours.
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate restaurant staff.
  • Recruit and onboard new employees as required for business operations.
  • Monitor staff performance and ensure employees follow company procedures and service standards.
  • Handle customer complaints, resolve service issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order food, beverages, packaging, and other restaurant supplies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, delivery partners, and service providers.
  • Review daily sales, cash handling, expenses, food costs, and labour costs.
  • Implement procedures to control waste, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health and safety, and workplace standards.
  • Maintain records related to sales, inventory, employee schedules, payroll hours, and operating expenses.
  • Develop and implement marketing, promotional, and customer service strategies to increase business.
  • Ensure the restaurant maintains cleanliness, quality standards, and a professional workplace environment.
  • Prepare reports for the owner regarding staffing, sales performance, inventory, and operational needs.
