Position: Tire Technician
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage & Benefit: $21.00 - $23.00/hr depending on experience, and based on 30-36hrs/wk, with 4% paid vacation
Overtime: Overtime rate provided after 8 hrs/day, or 44 hrs/wk

Job duties:

- Inspect vehicles for noticeable fluid leaks (oil, transmission fluid, coolant, power steering fluid, driveline fluid leaks).
- Inspect vehicle air filters, fuel filter, cabin air filter, belts, fluid levels, and battery condition.
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Raise vehicles using hydraulic jacks.
- Use lug wrenches or other hand tools and power tools to align, repair, and replace parts as needed.
- Perform oil and filter changes, fluid fills, and battery boosts & replacements.
- Perform tire rotations, mounting, balancing, and repairing tires.
- Provide excellent customer service during vehicle servicing.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Ensure safety policies and procedures are always followed, including proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area before, during, and after vehicle servicing.
- Assist mechanics with tasks and performing additional duties as assigned.
