Job Details
- Position: AZ Truck Driver
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Vacancies: 2
- Salary: $36.00 per hour
- Hours: 35–40 hours per week
- Schedule: Early Morning, Morning, Day Shifts
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities
As an AZ Truck Driver, your duties will include:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently
- Plan and adjust routes using GPS and navigation systems to reduce fuel consumption and improve delivery efficiency
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Monitor vehicle condition including tires, brakes, lights, and safety equipment
- Record cargo information, fuel consumption, hours of service, and trip details
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Ensure cargo is properly secured, including tarping and safety procedures
- Handle and transport dangerous goods in compliance with regulations
- Provide professional customer service and address customer concerns effectively
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Valid AZ Class License
- Air Brakes Endorsement required
- Experience is considered an asset
- Valid passport and driver’s license
- Must pass criminal record check, medical exam, drug test, and driving abstract check
