Our company Precision IT Consulting Inc. located in#206-8388 128 Street Surrey, BC V3W 5G2 which offers a wide range of services from Cloud IT solutions to managing backups, hosting Microsoft Exchange, network security etc is currently in urgent need of hiring 1 experienced network technician who has the necessary skills and experience to accomplish the following job duties and responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs) wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
• Own the pre-deployment of all Workstations and Wireless Access Points
• Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
• Load computer tapes and disks and install software and printer paper and forms
• Provide problem-solving services to network users / troubleshooting services
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
• Set up local area networks and connections to the internet
• Control and monitor e-mail use, web navigation, and installed software
• Establish a continuous improvement approach to servicing clients
• Be available for potential after-hours and weekend Help Desk and Project support both remote and onsite

Qualifications

• Industry Certifications is an asset
• Experience in IT Service field is an asset
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft OS and Microsoft 365
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel onsite to clients and office as required
• Must have knowledge in: Virtualization, MAC, Linux, Device Drivers, Networking software, Networking hardware, Networking security, Internet, Servers, Security software, Communication software, Information technology, MS Office, MS Windows, Spreadsheet, Firewall, MS Active Directory.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of work-related experience in IT services such as computer programming, network or interactive media / web development is possible with experience.

• Post-secondary education in a related computer program or Master’s degree in a technical field of study
