Duties:
Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of body damage.
Remove damaged body panels, bumpers, lights, and other components.
Repair or replace damaged body panels and structural components.
Perform dent repair, straightening, and bodywork.
Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming.
Install and align replacement body parts.
Repair and replace glass, trim, mouldings, and other exterior components.
Ensure proper panel gaps, alignment, and fitment.
Follow manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards.
Work with insurance estimates and repair orders.
Perform quality checks to ensure repairs meet required standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
