Hours: 35-40 hrs/week
Salary: $32.00-$34.00/hr
Overtime: As per BC Standards for over 8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/wk

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year of experience in carpentry
Job Duties:
- Read and interpret drawings, sketches and specifications to determine dimensions, materials and finishing requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and fit wood, wood substitutes and other finishing materials according to project specifications.
- Fit and install doors, door frames, window components, casings, mouldings, baseboards, trims and related finish carpentry components.
- Install stairs, handrails, railings and other finished wood components as required by project drawings and specifications.
- Install interior and exterior trim around windows, doors and other building openings, ensuring proper fit, alignment and finished appearance.
- Adjust, repair or replace doors, trims, mouldings, hardware and other finished carpentry components during construction and renovation projects.
- Check completed finish carpentry work for accurate measurements, level, alignment, secure installation and quality of workmanship.
- Operate carpentry hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment safely and coordinate work with other construction workers and trades as required.
