Job Title: Cook 

Wage per hour: $36.60.00 /Hourly 30 Hours per week

Employment Status: Full-Time, Permanent at least 30 hours /hour

Language: English, Ability to speak Malaysian is an added advantage but not mandatory

Education Requirement:  At least High School

QUALIFICATIONS

• Work Experience should be atleast 1 year experience as Cook
• Able to speak, understand and write in English. Knowledge in Malaysian Language is an added Advantage but not Mandatory.
• Experience in high profile Restaurants, Hotels, Government Offices is a plus but not Mandatory.
• Knowledge in Malaysian Cuisine is an added Advantage
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

 Work Description

• Prepare and cook Malaysian Cuisine meals or dishes and foods
• Estimate food consumption and additionally list the requisitions of foodstuffs and kitchen supplies
• Participates in planning menus plus utilization of food surpluses leftovers, taking into account probable number of customers, marketing conditions, popularity of various dishes.
• Test cooked foods by tasting and smelling them
• Records all inventory of food supplies and equipment
• Schedule, train and supervise kitchen helpers
• Helps clean the kitchen and adjacent work areas
• Set-up buffets
