Education: High School graduation or equivalent work experience

Work experience: 1 year of working experience

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Organize and oversee special events and food service activities
• Decide appropriate portion sizes and calculate food costs to stay within budget
• Design menus and plan the amount of ingredients needed for daily operations and events
• Order food items and kitchen supplies as required
• Prepare and cook full meals, individual dishes, and other food items
• Check kitchens and food preparation areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Train kitchen staff on proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling
• Keep accurate records of inventory, food supplies, and kitchen equipment
• Clean and maintain kitchen areas and workstations
