Job Duties:
- Organize and maintain client information and data sheets in the records system.
- Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate.
- Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.
- Apply labels on the prescribed medication container and assist in the distribution of medication
- Schedule appointments and provide clients with necessary information regarding their prescription.
- Check with a physician to ensure the accuracy of prescription information and help pharmacists.
- Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality assurance
- Compound oral solutions, ointments and cream.
- Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation
- Keep the work area sanitized.
- Process bill payments.
- Plan menus and diet for individuals or groups under direction of dietition or nutritionist.
