About the company:

KT Exterior Canada specializes in siding and exterior installation and repair services for residential and commercial properties. Our services include siding, soffit and fascia, roofing, gutters and eavestroughs, capping, as well as related exterior carpentry, framing and structural repair work required as part of our projects. 

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team.

Job Duties: 

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications for exterior construction and renovation projects.

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood and other construction materials.

• Construct, repair and replace exterior framing and structural components.

• Install and repair roof decking, sheathing, fascia, exterior trim and related components.

• Repair damaged wood and structural components during roofing and siding projects.

• Prepare and modify exterior walls, roof structures and openings.

• Install exterior finishing and related carpentry components.

• Inspect completed work for measurements, alignment, quality and structural integrity.

• Operate carpentry hand and power tools safely and follow applicable building and safety requirements.

• Follow construction specifications, building requirements and occupational health and safety procedures.

Requirements: 

• Completion of secondary school.

• Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience.

• Exterior construction, framing, roofing or renovation experience is an asset.

• Ability to read drawings and use carpentry hand and power tools.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, work outdoors and at heights.

• Flexible availability to work weekends and holidays as required based on project schedules and operational needs.

• Carpentry trade certification is an asset but not required.
