The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, and finishing a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked products while maintaining consistent quality and following food safety and sanitation standards.

Specific Skills

1. Assist bakers with preparing and handling ingredients and bakery products.
2. Measure and prepare flour, sugar, yeast, fillings, and other ingredients as required.
3. Add ingredients to mixers, grinders, hoppers, and other bakery equipment.
4. Load and unload bakery processing machines during production.
5. Prepare baking ingredients, trays, pans, and other supplies for daily production.
6. Remove finished bakery products from machines and place them on trays, racks, or work areas.
7. Pack bakery products by hand into bags, boxes, cartons, and other containers.
8. Check bakery products and packaging for visible defects or damage.
9. Follow proper food-handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
10. Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, trays, work surfaces, and production areas.
11. Remove waste and keep the work area clean and organized.
12. Move and stock ingredients, packaging materials, and finished bakery products as needed.
13. Follow workplace health and safety, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
14. Support bakers and other production workers with daily bakery production tasks.
15. Perform other related duties as required.
